Kelly S. Barr is the Chief Operating Officer at Elevation, where she oversees all functions of property management and accounting across Elevation’s portfolio.

Before assuming her current role, Kelly joined Elevation as Property Controller, managing Elevation’s property accounting team. In that role, Kelly successfully led the accounting team to grow to tell a full story of property operations through financial reporting. Prior to joining Elevation, Kelly worked for 19 years as the CFO of a non-profit organization in Akron, Ohio. In this role, she oversaw a team of accountants and was responsible for the successful management of all accounting functions and property management operations. Within two years, Kelly turned a portfolio with large losses into one with large profits.

Outside of her professional experience, Kelly has been a part of many projects to make a positive impact on her community. She established a non-profit with her then 8-year-old niece to aid in colon cancer research. The organization, Kids Involved in Cancer Research (KIRC), held walks for children to raise money and awareness for research. In 2018, Kelly successfully worked with elected officials and public leaders for 18 months to successfully change a state law promoting public safety.

Before relocating to Orlando in 2022, Kelly lived in Ohio where she helped to raise her niece, now a college student.
